Bangkok, Thailand

Awesome holiday, but NOT a great start to the trip:
Carmen very sick on the flight to Bangkok via Mumbai on Jet airlines.
Maybe air sickness. She was literally lying on the floor while we lined up for passport control. No choice but to keep going.
Airport security hectic with guards standing with guns.
Charne sick too but poor thing just had to tag along with no attention cos Carmen was worse.
To add to that the family got separated.
Big dramas about a hand luggage backpack not having a tag on it. Then Nardus left his boarding pass at security and had to run back and fetch it. He nearly missed the plane while Debbie was trying to get sick Carmen and Charne onto plane in a state that we had to travel without Nardus....

Arrived in Bangkok, took Metro rail for the first time and then had to walk quite a distance to the hotel with luggage.
Arrived at East Makasan hotel exhausted and had to wait for room... Door to door 24...

* Nardus went exploring (Mongoosing) and girls swam in hotel pool.
* First ride on a tuk-tuk!
* Foot massages for the girls in the eveningLæs mere
