Explored the underground water reserves - Basilica Cisterna. Water was brought 18km from the first regions by aquaducts and stored underground.

Spent the morning swimming at our favourite beach, in Antalya. Cost us 20 Turkish Lire each (R60) access to the beach for the day. We came here 3 years ago and made sure that we returned this holiday.

First stop little village Umzumlu

Little village famous for grapes. stopped for pancakes with Feta or with spinach and mint. Grapes here grown with thick skins that you don't eat. They last for 6 months. Best olives brown here too.
