Day 43 - Little Petra

We've headed back north today climbing 1600m to Wadi Musa, the gateway to the ancient city of Petra. Stopped at various 'rest stops' on the way, all selling very expensive souvenirs - five times the price anywhere else.
After lunch we visited Little Petra, a suburb of Petra where traders on the Silk Road used to stop. It's essentially a narrow canyon where various caves and buildings have been carved out. Very unique. Looking forward to the full "Indiana Jones experience" tomorrow when we visit the main Petra site.
