Day 81 - Koh Kood

Our laziest day of the sabbatical so far! Hired two scooters and headed down to Bang Bao beach to spend the day swimming and reading. This must have been our first ever 'beach holiday' day together in 20+ years!
This is meant to be one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Kood, which we can believe, so we were surprised to find relatively few people there.
The scooters were good fun and only cost £5/day, although fuel was ridiculously expensive at £1.33/litre - the only practical way to get around the island is by scooter, so they have a captive market!Læs mere
