Day 104 - Singapore (Heading home!)

After 104 days travelling we are finally on our way back to the UK. Just 14 hrs to go now! We have still been busy today though! Started off with a trip to the observation deck at the Marina Bay Sands hotel. Over 300m high with an infinity pool spanning 3 separate buildings. It is really an amazing piece of engineering. After that we headed off to Raffles and the famous Long Bar. Taken back a bit by the empty peanut shells on the floor but apparently that is the tradition. These however were the most expensive drinks we have ever had. Two Singapore Slings were £60! They were clearly in demand though as there was a queue out the door when we left. Getting dark so we headed to the airport for some food and to see the indoor waterfall at the Jewel, a five story shopping centre within the airport with a rainforest theme.
