    February 7, 2021 in Mexico ⋅ ☀️ 27 °C

We both woke up this morning feeling tired and hungover after a late one. After breakfast I messaged our friends Ivan and Daniel to check if we were still going to be meeting that day, they replied saying they were on their way so we rushed to get ready.

They planned to visit the Mayan Ruins of Uxmal themselves and we were happy to tag along. On our drive towards the town for lunch we stumbled across a Mayan cave which also had a lookout tower with amazing views across the Mexican countryside. The cave itself was about 20/30ft down a rickety old ladder but similarly to the Cenotes the rock formations below were incredible - after being made jump by one too many bats we made our way back up to ground level and headed off for some lunch!
