Mexico Day 78 - Mexico City

We started the day with an hour's walk through Chapultapec park towards Polanco taking in the beautiful park and all the Mexicans enjoying their Sunday (most of them with Dogs, of course).

By the time we got to Museo Soumaya we were starving and stopped at a breakfast place called Elizondo which seemed be a French Mexican. We had some lovely pastries and then shared some enchiladas and Chillaquiles.

Once refilled we went over to Museo Soumaya and took in the amazing architecture of the building which looked like a mixture between a discoball and a halfpipe. The exhibitions were great too, we loved all the traditional Mexican style art and skipped swiftly past the European religious & renaissance style art.Read more
