30 Year Wish

It finally happened. A couple of lunch meat sandwiches, a sunny day at the airport - not to hot or not to cold, the airplane I built, and somebody I love who loves me sitting in a lawn chair beside me looking out the hangar at the windsock with the runway in the distance on father's day.

Back in 1992 I was starting work on a home built airplane. Part of that dream was to some day be sitting at an airport just like I did today on father's day. I never dreamed though it would take 30 years.
