Komets vs the Wheeling Nailers

Almost the last game of the season 🤤

BUT..... We made it to a game!

So far we are behind. Nailers took a total cheat shot tripped our guy and then scored. Boo hiss.

Pretzel & pork Sammie to get us through.

In the end the Komets lost miserably. It was the first time I remember leaving with over 8 minutes still to go. They were so far behind there was no way they could even challenge to win. It was Pa-the-tic!Read more

A Sad Burger

It's half price burger day but it's just Rick and Philbert here. Diane is in Colorado visiting her sister. Perry went with her to keep her safe. Philbert would have gone but his reputation as a safety monitor has not fully recovered after his drinking incident in Ireland. I'm happy to report he is sober today.

On other news... It's a beautiful day out today so Philbert and Rick have been working at the shed. It was totally jammed full so they are working to clear some clutter out. Got the wheels back on the bicycles and got both running. Philbert rode on the book carrier on the back and said it scarred him. He would rather fly. Says it's safer. So with that settled we went and posted them on Craigslist! Not sure what price to sell them for so we started a little high. He says he wants higher quality bird seed if they sell. I said we would see. No promises.Read more

Gus gets a Bath

Yep Gus the Gaurd Phlamingo got a bath while in for rehab. Perhaps he's too has been drinking to much, we're not sure, but he seemed a little dirty and had lost his deputy police badge to boot.

We felt this was a poor reflection on the other honorable members of the local law enforcement so it was decided by committee that Gus would be involitarily sent to rehab.

Happily the rehab was short and Gus is back to his duties gaurding Mingo Manor TB Hotel &Mega Resort.Read more
