Khum Srae Themi (Pottery)

Our excursions today was past Kampong Chhnang village, and the whole village is organised around fishing since French colonization.

We went by mini bus to a small village famous for its utilitarian pottery. We met the village elder, who at 72 still climbs palm trees 6 times a day to collect the palm sap for making wine and sugar.
We stopped at the market where I tried the crickets (delicious) before getting back on the ship for our journey to continue down river.Meer informatie
