    First Day 🌳

    September 1 in France ⋅ ☀️ 20 °C

    Arrived yesterday and already spotted a fox from our terrace on the very first evening. 🦊 Ended the day with some much-needed wellness time.

    Today started slow with a fire on a chilly morning, followed by coffee and breakfast at the main house. A little hike to ease into the day, then back for sunshine, ice cream and a long soak in the hot tub. 🌲

    Little Canada Tour 🌳

    September 2 in France ⋅ ☁️ 23 °C

    Hiking through “Little Canada” today. 🌲 Beautiful nature, barely anyone around and nothing but silence — exactly what we came for.

    Finished the hike with a refreshing dip in the lake, which felt pretty amazing on tired legs and feet. 💦

    And the evening? Keeping it simple: baguette, cheese, wine and the hot tub under a sky full of stars. 🥖🧀🍷✨    Read more

    Colmar

    September 4 in France ⋅ ☁️ 29 °C

    Yesterday was all about Colmar. 🇫🇷 Walking through the beautiful little streets, suddenly back to 30+ degrees, some delicious tarte flambée and a stop at a tiny café for some really good specialty coffee. ☕️

    Back home, we ended the day with raclette by the light of oil lamps, followed by our usual sauna session and another night under the stars. ✨    Read more
