    Up early for a beautiful ferry crossing to the Isle of Mull. Sun was trying to shine, warm and the sea very calm. Even saw dolphins.
    Once on Mull we drove straight down the island to catch the ferry to Iona.
    Iona was settled in by St Columba in 563 and is said to be the birthplace of Celtic Christianity. Our trip to Iona was out short as the ferry master was concerned about the afternoon weather and the ferry could be cancelled . We did have time to see the ruins of the abbey and nunnery but not do any walks.
