Bevor wir auf die Nachbarinsel Bali fliegen, müssen wir noch einige Dinge erledigen. Indonesisches Geld anheben. Eine indonesische Sim-Karte besorgen. Neue Turnschuhe kaufen, da unsere Schuhe schon durchgelatscht sind. Socken kaufen, da Kambodscha unsere Wäsche total versaut hat. Dinge des alltäglichen Bedarfs kaufen und ESSEN. Also rein ins Taxi und auf ins Einkaufszentrum. Offensichtlich gibt es hier kaum Verkehrsregeln im Straßenverkehr, da alle, wirklich alle unentwegt hupen! Super nervig. Am Einkaufszentrum angekommen, durften wir nicht einfach so rein…nee. Wir mussten uns eine App herunterladen und unsere Impflebens- und Reisegeschichte eintragen…was nicht möglich war, da wir ja kein Internet hatten. Zur Erinnerung, wir waren auf dem Weg eine Sim zu kaufen, aber wir durften nicht rein, weil wir kein Internet hatten!!! Der Security legte uns einen Hotspot und wir versuchten es wirklich uns anzumelden, aber es ging und ging nicht. Immer wieder wurden wir aus dem Netz geschmissen und immer wieder ging ich zu diesem Mann zurück. Nach den letzten Wochen und Ereignissen hatte ich echt eine kurze Zündschnur. Fassungslos und den Tränen sehr nahe stand ich auf und sagte sehr energisch: „ Sir, wir müssen da rein um Internet zu kaufen, aber ich habe kein Internet um mich anzumelden, es funktioniert einfach nicht, was soll ich denn jetzt machen? Bitte!“ Und er: „Oh, sind Sie geimpft?“ Ich: „Jaa! Hier!“ Er schaute sich das Impfzertifikat an und ließ uns rein. Waaaas? So einfach? Warum denn nicht gleich so? OK, so weit so gut. In einer Mall/ Einkaufszentrum fühlen wir uns sicher, da wirken die Gesetze gleich, dachten wir. Aber nicht hier. Denn in Indonesien sind Preise nicht immer die endgültigen Preise. Hier sind die Steuern nicht immer mit eingerechnet und so erlebt man das eine oder andere Mal eine Überraschung an der Kasse. So kostet ein Cookie nicht 2,5 sondern fast 4 Euro zum Beispiel. Richtig blöd, denn das begleitet uns nun die ganze Zeit. Mal sind die Steuern drin, mal nicht, Überraschung, Überraschung. Aber wir bekamen eine günstige SIM für ca. 2,50 Euro. Gute Skechers Schuhe im Angebot, Socken und lecker Essen. Ab in in unser Hotelzimmer OHNE Fenster für eine Nacht und dann gehts nach Bali.

Zanim odlecimy na sąsiednią wyspę Bali, mamy jeszcze kilka rzeczy do załatwienia. Pobrać indonezyjskie pieniądze. Zdobądź indonezyjską kartę Sim. Kupić nowe trampki, bo nasze buty są już zużyte. Kupić nowe skarpetki, bo Kambodża totalnie zniszczyłam nam pranie. Kupić artykuły codziennego użytku i Musimy coś zjeść. Więc wsiadamy do taksówki I jedziemy do centrum handlowego. Najwyraźniej w ruchu drogowym nie ma prawie żadnych przepisów ruchu drogowego, ponieważ wszyscy naprawdę wszyscy, nieustannie trąbią klaksonami! Super irytujące. Przybyliśmy do centrum handlowego, nie wpuszczono nas... nie. Musieliśmy zameldować się na aplikację i wypełnić naszą historię szczepień i historię podróży… co nie było możliwe, ponieważ nie mieliśmy internetu. Przypominamy, że przyjechaliśmy kupić sim, ale nie wpuszczono nas, bo nie mieliśmy internetu!!! Ochrona ustawiła nam hotspot i naprawdę próbowaliśmy się zalogować, ale to nie działało i nie działało. Raz za razem wyrzucano nas z sieci. Po ostatnich tygodniach i wydarzeniach naprawdę miałam krótki bezpiecznik. Oszołomiony i bardzo bliski łez, wstałam i powiedziałem bardzo dobitnie: „Proszę pana, musimy tam wejść, żeby kupić internet, ale nie mam internetu, żeby się zarejestrować, to po prostu nie działa, co mam zrobić teraz?" Proszę!” A on: „Och, jesteś zaszczepiony?” Ja: „Tak! Tutaj!” Spojrzał na kartę szczepień i wpuścił nas. Cooo? Tak łatwo? Dlaczego nie od razu w ten sposób? OK, jak dotąd tak dobrze. Czujemy się bezpiecznie w centrum handlowym, ponieważ tam przepisy mają taki sam skutek, myśleliśmy. Ale nie tutaj. Bo w Indonezji ceny nie są zawsze ceny finałowe. Tutaj podatki nie zawsze są wliczone w cenę, więc jeden lub drugi doświadcza niespodzianki przy kasie. Na przykład ciastko kosztuje nie 2,5, tylko prawie 4 euro. Naprawdę głupie, bo to nam teraz cały czas towarzyszy. Czasami podatki są wliczone, czasami nie, niespodzianka, niespodzianka. Ale dostaliśmy tanią kartę SIM za około 2,50 euro. Dobre buty Skechers na wyprzedaży, skarpetki i pyszne jedzenie. Wróciliśmy do naszego pokoju hotelowego BEZ okien na jedną noc, a potem lecimy na Bali.

Before we fly to the neighboring island of Bali, we still have a few things to do. Get Indonesian money. Get an Indonesian Sim card. Buying new sneakers because our shoes are already worn out. Buy socks because Cambodia totally messed up our laundry. Buy everyday necessities and EAT. So get in the taxi and off to the mall. Apparently there are not any traffic rules here, because everyone, really everyone, is constantly honking their horns! Super annoying. Arrived at the shopping center, we weren't just allowed to go in... no. We had to download an app and fill in our vaccination history and travel history...which wasn't possible as we didn't have internet. As a reminder, we were on our way to buy a sim but we weren't allowed because we didn't have internet!!! The security set us a hotspot and we really tried to log in, but it didn't work and didn't work. Again and again we were thrown off the net and I kept going back to this man. After the last few weeks and events, I really had a short fuse. Stunned and very close to tears, I stood up and said very emphatically, "Sir, we need to go in there to buy internet, but I don't have internet to sign up, it just doesn't work, what should I do now? Please!” And he: “Oh, are you vaccinated?” Me: “Yeah! Here!” He looked at the vaccination certificate and let us in. Whaaaat? That easy? Why not like that? OK, so far so good. We feel safe in a mall/shopping center because the laws have the same effect there, we thought. But not here. Because in Indonesia prices are not just prices. Here the taxes are not always included and so one or the other we experienced a surprise at the checkout. For example, a cookie does not cost 2.5 but almost 4 euros. Really stupid, because that accompanies us all the time now. Sometimes the taxes are included, sometimes not, surprise, surprise. But we got a cheap SIM for about 2.50 euros.
