Day 41 Grains Bar to Hebden Bridge

We started today with a good breakfast at the Grains Bar hotel. Then we set off again on on the Crompton Circuit path across Crompton Moor. We then joined the Pennine Bridleway, we had great views of Hollingworth Lake, which took us under the M62. We joined the Pennine Way at the White House Inn, sadly it was closed. We then walked across the moor, passing reservoirs, until we reached our destination Stoodley Pike Monument, this was very impressive. We then followed a very steep path down to Hebden Bridge before following an even steeper path up to our camp site.
