Day 48 rest day in Middleton in Teesdale

Today we had a very nice rest day. After a very nice breakfast we set out to explore Barnard Castle. A very nice market town with a castle to explore. Then we went for lunch at the Rose and Crown in Romaldkirk. This was a lovely little village, we had a look around the old village church and then had a very nice lunch in the Rose and Crown.
