• Day 58 Glentress forest to West Linton

    When we woke up this morning it was very misty in the forest, we could barely see where we were walking. After a nice breakfast in the camp kitchen we set off on our walk. It was a slightly shorter day today (16 miles), which meant we could have a more relaxed start to the day. First we headed for Peebles, which is a very pretty town and we stopped for a coffee break. Then we followed the Cross Borders Drove Road up into the hills and they had a forest, through farm tracks and quiet lanes, all the way to West Linton, which is also very pretty. Tonight we are staying at the Gordon Arms hotel, which is very nice.Read more
