Museu de Disseny - Barcelona, Spain

After lunch with my uncles, I went to the Museum of Design. It ended up being far more interesting than expected and I ended up spending more than two hours slowly creeping through every exhibit, reading every description and analyzing every piece on display. The top level was the history of graphic design which was a bit less my cup of tea. The next floors were the history of fashion design which was by far my favorite and then industrial design which showed all the different advancements in textiles, furniture, pottery, etc. The lowest floor talked about why certain designs are successful which was also especially interesting to me personally as I plan to go into the field one day.Read more
