    France part deux

    September 21, 2021 in France ⋅ 🌙 15 °C

We arrived, a little tired from our ferry to Cherbourg, and took the short 40min drive from the terminal to a most spectacular spot.

Apparently used for ball-trap / clay pigeon shooting, though now just many route hikers passing, a most wonderful spot to pull Frank up, with views out to sea, to jersey island, France and sometimes England perhaps…. ?

We sit in the sun sipping a coffee and some apple tart from the Glencullen kitchen, taking in the scenery. Blue seas sparkle and twirl and twist, below our cliff they crash onto the stones beaches. There’s still heat in that sun!

Later we’re treated to orange sunsets, changing colours and shapes on the clouds. Burning skies. Reds so rich contrast on the navy sky, as fabrics these could make quite a shall…

It’s quiet. Serene. Like parking up on the edge of the world! By morning we wake to misty sun rises and head off in search of a croissant!
