    Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

    In Brisbane. Pics of critters unique to Oz. First is a koala. Second is a platypus. That is the best I could get. The critters didn't stay still long enough to get a clear picture. The flying foxes--a large species of bat. The a cassowary, a critically endangered species that is equally critical for the survival for many rain forest plants. Then a dingo and one of Australia's large lizards.Read more
