Comunna 13

Neighborhood 13. A poorer part of Medellin that is making efforts to improve. It is an area filled with really good street art, at least one really good small restaurant (Berracas de la 13) and people working for empowerment. It amazes me that this is the neighborhood that the FARC took over during the civil war and was ravaged, especially when a couple Blackhawks attacked.
