    City of about 700,000 where a major battle in the war for independence from Spain was fought. The first pic is the main square, called July 9th square, July 9 being independence day here. Next is an overview of the city from Mt San Lorenzo. Then the cathedral with a close up of the chancel. I suspect some syncretism here, with the sun being an Incan God.
