Rio de Janeiro City Center

Some looks at downtown Rio. First are several street and market scenes. 4th is a look along Carnaval Road where the parade takes place. Not a very good picture as the area is closed for final preparations for Carnaval in a couple days. Then Maracaná Stadium, the big national Fútbol (soccer) Stadium. Last is the Colombo Bakery, a landmark beautiful 19th century building, built as a bakery and maintained as one. Good coffee and excellent baked goods.Read more
