    Largest lake in Central America. Granada is located here. Also said to be the only place to have fresh water sharks in the world, though I had never heard of fresh water sharks and didn't see any. This part of the lake has hundred of small islets, said to have originated from a massive eruption centuries ago. The pics are looks at the area, including some of the residences. The small island community has its own school, church, stores, restaurants, etc. One main occupation is traditional fishing. Also, someone released monkeys on one small island.Read more
