Duchala Pass, Bhutan

Spectacular scenic spot to see the Himalayas when the clouds cooperate. Also the site where the queen mother erected 108 stupas to honor the king and the victory in the 3 days war against mercenaries from India. 108 is a sacred number in Tibetan Buddhism. I crossed the pass a second time, but that was worse. We were in the clouds. So no Himalaya photos.En savoir plus
