    Carved temple

    This Hindu temple, dating to the 6th and 7th centuries, consists of several elements. Each of these elements is monolithic; they are each carved from a single rock.
    First is the largest bas relief in the world in granite. It depicts parts of the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. Next are three of the temples dedicated variously to the Hindu Trinity: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. 5th is a natural formation called the Butterball.
