Old Hyderabad

The old part of the main city in this part of central India. Founded in the 16th century to be a new capital after Golconda (see another post). Apparently, there had been a problem with disease (maybe plague). So they moved.
The first two pics are Charimar from 2 angles. This is first structure built here and which defines the center of the new city. The upper levels are an open air mosque.
