Kalaw

A main city in the South Shan region of Myanmar. The 1st picture overlooks the city. The 2nd is the traditional market in the city. The last three are of the so called Lesser Golden Cave. The larger Golden Cave is a couple hours away. In the Shan area, stupas and religious things are grouped instead of placed around the area as in the rest of Myanmar. In this place there is also a cave filled with images of the Buddha, all donated by different people who also maintain their donated statues.Læs mere
