Cooperative Orthotic & Prosthetic Enterprise on Vientiane. They say that Laos is the most heavily bombed country, per capita, in the world. More than 2 million tons of munitions were dropped here during the Vietnam War, largely cluster bombs. I understand that that's more than all bombs dropped by all sides during WW II. Now, 50 years later, people are still being killed and maimed by unexploded ordnance.
