    The old part of Penang, now a UNESCO world heritage site, designating the whole community. The first 2 pictures are of colonial era buildings. The blue mansion is said to somehow regulate the building's temperature. The 3rd picture is an old street decorated for Chinese New Year. 4th is an alley set up for anyone to paint on the walls. Street art is a big deal here, and the city contracted with artist Ernest Zacharevic to paint a number of works. His best known one is in the 5th picture. The bicycle is not painted. It is built into the wall as an integral part of his work, something he is noted for. The last picture is Little India at night.Read more
