    Rainforest Canopy

    February 2, 2020 in Malaysia ⋅ ☁️ 30 °C

The world longest elevated walkway through a forest canopy is at Mulu. It is 480 meters long and up to 40 meters high. Most is 25-30 meters above ground. The whole point of the walk is to demonstrate the layers of the forest, from the ground dwellers through the understory to the canopy and the emergents that stand above the canopy.
The 1st picture is of the cable suspended walkway. It's an amazing structure. The rest of the photos look at the forest from the level of the walkway, some out into the trees, some down through the layers to the ground.
