    Penang tribal village

    February 4, 2020 in Malaysia ⋅ ☁️ 24 °C

Village of the Penang tribe within the bounds of Mulu. Most of the people work with tourism. The houses are provided by the government, but the crafts are their own. The 1st picture looks across the main square and shows a bit of the mountain scenery as the mist was lifting. 2nd is the drill used to bore out blow pipes. 3rd is a series of blow pipes. In the next picture, I'm trying out a traditional blow pipe. Did OK too. Next is a photo of their craft market.Read more
