Located near the foot of Mount Agung, Bali's tallest mountain (and an active volcano), Sidemen is a small, traditional, rural village not much modernized by all the construction to serve the tourist invasion of Bali. At least not yet. So it gives a good look at old Bali.
The 1st picture is of the center of town. The 2nd looks across the rice paddies. Mount Agung is at the left with the summit in clouds. 3rd is planting rice. 4th is a traditional weaver working on a traditional wedding sarong. 4th is a guy playing a Balinese instrument much like a marimba.
