AlUla dates to the 6th century BCE, and the region includes the important sites of Dadan and Hegra. Both of those sites have their own posts.
Probably the best known site at AlUla is at elephant rock. The 1st picture is a laser light on an adjacent rock. That is AlUla in Arabic above the Latin rendering of the name. The 2nd picture is elephant rock. The elephant shaped rock is natural, shaped by natural erosive forces. Today it is a venue with food, music, etc.
The 3rd and 4th pictures are both of the main street the old town AlUla. This has also become a venue full of shops and restaurants.
