Kilisan Wadi

Kilisan is where the largest natural pool is located down a trail that takes the better part of an hour. The end is worth it. The pool and setting are beautiful.
The 1st picture is taken from the top of the canyon where the wadi runs. The 2nd picture was taken most of the way down and foreshadows what's to come.
Pictures 3, 4, & 5 are of the pool. It is up to 5 meters deep with shelves along some of the sides. You can see the limestone walls of the wadi with all the different height tops. The water is deep enough to jump from most of them.
The 6th picture is of the area alongside the pool. The limestone is smoothed and shaped by the flow of water when it rains enough.
The 7th picture is looking down the wadi from the outlet, and the 8th picture is the view farther down the wadi, taken on the way up.Read more
