Ireland Crawl

It was time yet again to start looking for a place to stay. We stopped at the Mills Inn for dinner and found there is a local craft brewery here. We tasted 5 they had on tap and they were all very good. We plan to make a stop there on our way out of town tomorrow. We then asked the bartender if he knew of any good places to stay in town, he laughted and said "here". I thought he was joking as in staying and drinking all night, but they did in fact have rooms. Once again we fell into a place. It was later determined that they had no water. Becuase of the dry spell we've been having, they had to switch the water supply and it hadn't filled up. However, they had a room in the "old lodge" and could guarantee water by morning so we took it. Jon later found out that the lodge was the original hunting lodge for Blarney Castle. Out our bedroom window you can see part of the old tower. Very cool. On to Cork, Blarney Castle and Jameson Distillery tomorrow.En savoir plus
