Escaping the Heatwave

So Europe is in the midst of a heatwave that they think will break records. France and Spain in the mid-40s, and we're riding 800km of Camino trail next week!
In the meantime, Chamonix is severely lacking in cooling off spots, so Declan, Liz, Mandy and I drove 1 1/2 hours to Lake Geneva, to the Swiss towns of Vervay and Montreaux.
We spent the day in and out of the lake, which was almost too warm, but deliciously refreshing and the only place to be on a day like this!Leia mais
