Thailand to Laos

We crossed the friendship bridge to enter into Laos and continue our journey by boat. I am currently sliding through the Mekong River and it is so beautiful! There are different tribes fishing, farming and washing items at rivers edge. The sweet calm that comes over you as you watch the world go by is enlightening. After a brief stop at one of the local villages we enjoyed lunch on the boat. The stop at the village was a bit disheartening as I believe there is not any donations made to the villagers as we intrude on their everyday lives.もっと詳しく
