White Tenple

We started the day getting up early so we could see the white temple with the morning sunlight by Teresa’s suggestion, best suggestion ever! After our main shots literally about tenth in line to gain first access in front of a bus load of tourists. So beautiful it is hard to describe. From the first entry on the bridge that leads to the temple with hands reaching out to the dragons, it feels surreal. Then upon entry it feels like other temples but if closer attention is paid to the paintings there is a very distinct story being told by the creator of the temple, which has been built solely on houses own funds. So much so that I bought the book to better understand his thoughts of his creation. The interior at first glance is religion based but in the back wall there is Micheal Jackson, minions, predator, twin towers being destroyed by 9/11. More than you can possibly even absorb in one viewing.Read more
