In the Oval Hall Aeronautica (vol) interior - Aeronautics (domestic flight) - is an installation by the artist Francesc Torres. It is inspired by his visit to the historic La Sènia Airfield, built by the Government of the Second Republic just after the start of the Spanish Civil War. This field played a very prominent role for its strategic location and operational capability, first for the Republic Aviation and then for the German Condor Legion.
