    The main chapel of the Burgos Cathedral ( Burgos , Castilla y León , Spain ), the main place of worship of the Castilian Cathedral , was built in the central decades of the 13th century in the French Gothic style

    The main altarpiece presides over the chapel , a work in the Romanist Renaissance style begun in 1562 by Rodrigo de la Haya and completed after his death in 1577 by his brother.
    It has many burials sepulchers but notably has the tomb of El Cid and his wife Donya Jimena
