As stated, it is quite an enjoyable hike.
At one point, we took another short break in one of the huts (after we had our picnic lunch - see next footprint) : quite impressive setup and again one has to marvel at what PRIVATE entity can do with a lot less money and proper planning.

BTW, this, it was the longest hike of the week clocking at just over 11 miles, which nicely translates to 17.5 km, which is your "upper-end" average on the TMB (of course it is not THAT flat there 😉)Read more
