The Aiguille du Midi (French pronunciation: [eɡɥij dy midi], "Needle at midday") is a 3,842-metre-tall (12,605 ft) mountain in the Mont Blanc massif within the French Alps. It is a popular tourist destination and can be directly accessed by cable car from Chamonix that takes visitors close to Mont Blanc.
Remember, we play tourists today, so...😁
Laurie actually bowed out after the 1st cable car took us to Plan de l'Aiguille at 2,317 m (7,602 ft)
I went further up the upper station at 3,777 m.

旅行者It is. So, while up there, I chatted with a French couple, and the lady (Catherine) told me she was afraid as well. However, in a true French way she conquered that fear by fortifying herself avec 3 verres de vin rouge 😁
旅行者I think I would be with Laurie. That cable car seems pretty high up. (Stunning views, though)
