We needed some encouraging pick-us-up so we drove to Pittsfield.
Pittsfield is the largest city and the county seat of Berkshire County. It is the principal city of the Pittsfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Berkshire County.
