Zurich Hauptbahnhof is Zurich's main station, often abbreviated to Zurich HB. It's a major terminus used by almost all trains serving the city and you'll often find yourself changing trains here. It's the largest station in Switzerland.
Serving up to 2,915 trains per day, Zürich HB is one of the busiest railway stations in the world. It was ranked as the best European railway station in 2023 and 2024.
It opened on 9 August 1847 (177 years ago) and has been rebuilt 3 times since.
