Museggmauer

The Musegg Wall is a well-preserved section of the city's medieval fortifications, constructed around 1365 to protect the city, particularly after Lucerne joined the Swiss Confederation in 1332. The wall, stretching for approximately 870 meters, features nine towers, each with its own history and purpose, and is considered one of the longest, best-preserved defensive walls in Switzerland.
