    The Chapel of Saint Peter Martyr (or Capela de San Pedro Mártir in Galician) is a small, ancient sanctuary located on Mount San Pedro Mártir, in the parish of A Pereiriña, belonging to the municipality of Cee (A Coruña). This church stands out for its great spiritual significance and for being located directly on the section of the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James) to Fisterra and Muxía.

    History and Characteristics
    Ancient Origin: The exact date of its founding is unknown, but it is considered one of the oldest churches in the region. It is believed to have been erected on a site where ancient pagan rituals were celebrated.

    Historical Links: It was historically linked to the old monastery of Santa Tasia and belonged to the Archpriestship of Trastámara until the end of the 15th century.

    Interior and surroundings:
    The building is of very simple architecture. Inside, it houses images of Saint Peter and Our Lady of Fatima. Nearby are several megalithic funerary monuments and a traditional stone cross in front of the facade
