Landed about 11am local time and simply breezed through Passport Control and no Customs at all.
At no point was French QR code mentioned or asked for.
I did stop at T2 Pharmacy and got me the much-talked-about EU digital (although the ladies behind the counter assured me that there is no need in France)
I figured better play it safe and at least for now I am good though all EU

The Montparnasse Tower is a 689ft ( 210m) skyscraper. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011,and is the 14th tallest building in EU

The Montparnasse Cemetery has been in use since 1824. According to Wiki The cemetery is roughly 47 acres and is the second largest cemetery in Paris.The cemetery has over 35,000 graves and approximately a thousand people are buried here each year.
I made a beeline straight on 'main' Ave just to catch some of the Graves I wanted to visit (see pictures)
Unfortunately I came in too late in the day as the cemetery closes around 6 p.m. therefore I missed the graves of Auguste Bartoldi and Man Ray which I would have also laugh to visit, but they were in the farther sections.

A bit of restless night but I guess could have been worse
Was set to go into a 4-bed dorm and wound up in 3
One girl had her things on her bunk by the time I came back from dinner....and didn't show up until 3:00am (quite inebriated)
The other checked in around midnight... left right out...came back...and left again perhaps in 45mins., making enough noise in both occasions
(Reckon better get used to that 🙃)

About 1/3 of my last night albergue-mates are doing the same so we'll see each other there

My stop for today
Only five miles but it was a bit of a rough going
Actually I somewhat breezed through first 5 km...
Mind you taking it easy and slow...
But the remaining 3 were quite challenging
The last "click" the winds went wild
It was good to catch a cool breeze after a rather warm and humid late morning but the winds were quite strong
It is an unusually warm and a hot day today in Pyrenees supposed to go up to about 93 - 95 degrees
