    Albergue

    Albergue is totally cool
    It is completely eco-friendly and the owners are vegan so I'm looking forward to dinner; should be quite interesting but I'm sure tasty
    Completely off the road with no traffic at all and the only sounds you hear are the birds chirping and cows mooing; everybody is actually debating whether or not we will hear owls at night
    nice Garden and they have hammocks in the little Forest a little uphill way from the house there is a little Meadow out there and that's where Chico and his Dad set up their tent and are relaxing after the hard day's walk
    There is another very old three we think it's probably about six hundred years old and Kyle from Seattle and Alicia from Netherlands are sitting under it    Okumaya devam et

    Dinner

    Butternut squash soup
    Medley over veggies with hummus rice cake something looks like baba ganoosh... and maybe something else
    Chocolate cake

    And we also discovered that Chico's name actually Bobo

    So the tally for the day is...

    Everyone remember where we ended yesterday
    and we are now at about 16km vertical line so another 20km under the belt
    Walking in the morning is beautiful
    sun doesn't come in until the time we are in the albergue
    the rains again held off and actually did not show their face throughout the whole day
    As mentioned previously there were a couple of ups surprisingly for what I thought would be one downslope but on the overall it was an easy day with any obstacles Conquered as expected    Okumaya devam et

    Sarria

    Another major milestone
    Sarria is the last place before Santiago that can be used to qualify for Compostela
    As such, it is full with new blood on Camino including many students from various Spanish schools doing Camino as a field trip
    It is quite possible to reach Santiago from Sarria in 5 days...which of course I am not doing    Okumaya devam et

    Another totally cool place
    Very clean and it has a poolThe check in was not available yet so went for Desayuno numero duo

    Mursellino (Brazil) and Alicia (Norway) were in the same albergue last night as I was and made it here slightly before me.

    Once I went to the pool Anna from Netherlands (and it is possible that I might have picture of her previously as we play leapfrog for some time) informed me that my swim trunks are a Dutch Flag and insisted on photo

    ..just a little bit more ....

    Starting in the map rom last hight

    As you can see there is still some ups n downs so going was bit tough
    After 20km on the Way I stopped in Barbadello

    Conversations with fellow Pilgrims while walking, during breaks or at albergue beginning to include "returns to real life" topics...and whether or not some are doing Finisterre/Muxia extensions after Santiago...
    The end is getting closer....

    In my typical way I quipped that I am afraid that after returning home I might go out for a short walk and get confused and lost because there will be no yellow arrows.... 😁    Okumaya devam et

    Barbadello morning

    So...lingered a bit, had Desayuno numero uno (Zuma, tostado, y Grande coffee con Leche supplemented by some of my hardboiled eggs) and went on my Way.

    Does not really count for Desayuno numero duo but I needed my 1st sello for the day (if you recall my explanation- now past Sarria I MUST have 2/day , so I try to hit a bar for 1 and my albergue for night is 2) and so I stopped... it is nice to buy something before asking for sello...and the senora didn't have Kas Lemon but she had Kas Naranja- works for me.
    And I saw Philip who made good time coming here after going on Samos detour. He told me that Peter is about 2 days behind now as he decided to take a rest day

    I also (quite surprisingly) saw that Bebe was there as well. I briefly mentioned her before...she traveled with couple of boys who was protecting her and she played mommy to them. This was good 2 weeks ago somewhere around Burgos...and here she was... without the boys they were 1 day ahead...

    Both her and Philip had to run (although not together) but both were trying to make Portomarin - 23km and I had nowhere to run, so we said our adieus..adieu... we just might still run into each other perhaps one more time but it is unlikely. Buen Camino my fellow Pilgrims! ULTREIA
