Kalgoorlie Town Hall

The former Town Hall is now the tourist information centre. I wandered and asked the chap who was vacuuming if there was any chance that we could look into the main hall. Les the caretaker was only too please open up the magnificent hall and council rooms for us. You can see the splendour in the photographs. Even with the dreadfully harsh lighting and lack of chandeliers the hall is spectacular. It would be wonderful if they could get a grant to restore it to its rightful glory. Czytaj więcej
