On my way to NYC

Without breakfast, I left at 9 a.m. for New York City. A good hour through the foggy Hudson River Valley. Over the mountains to the left and right of the Hudson I drove in serpentines through dense fog. Traffic was no problem, I think it was good to drive a little later to avoid the morning commuter traffic. Unfortunately there was only once the possibility to park. I would have liked to make a full stop on so many bridges or on so many hilltops for a photo.

Ohne Frühstück ging es um 9 Uhr los Richtung New York City. Eine gute Stunde durch das vernebelt Hudson River Valley. Über de Berge links und rechts vom Hudson ging es in Serpentinen durch dichten Nebel. Der Verkehr war kein Problem, ich glaube es war gut etwas später zu fahren um nicht in den morgendlichen Pendlerverkehr zu geraten. Leider gab es nur einmal die Möglichkeit zu parken. Ich hätte gerne auf so mancher Brücke oder auf so mancher Bergkuppe eine Vollbremsung gemacht für ein Foto.Read more
